[In billions of dollars (258 represents $258,000,000,000).A "traditional home equity loan" is a closed-end loanextended for a specific period that generally requires repayment
ofinterest and principal in equal monthly installments. Such a loantypically has a fixed interest rate. A "home equity line of credit" isa revolving account that permits borrowing
