Public lands include any land and interest in land owned by the United States that are administered by the Secretary of Interior through the BLM, without regard to how the United States acquired ownership, except for (1) landslocated on the Outer Continental Shelf, and (2) lands held for the benefit of Indians, Aleuts, and Eskimos. Includes public domain and acquired lands.This inventory is authorized by the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949 (63 Statute 377), as amended]
