*Definitions

Barrel (petroleum): A unit of volume equal to 42 U. S. gallons.

Natural Gas Liquids (NGL): Those hydrocarbons in natural gas thatare separated as liquids from the gas. Natural gas liquids include natu-ral gas plant liquids (primarily ethane, propane, butane, andisobutane), and lease condensate (primarily pentanes produced fromnatural gas at lease separators and field facilities.)

Liquefied Petroleum Gases (LPG): Ethane, ethylene, propane, pro-pylene, normal butane, butylene, and isobutane produced at refineriesor natural gas processing plants, including plants that fractionate newnatural gas plant liquids.
