Telecommunications: good network consists of coaxial cables radio-relay links, and radiocommunication stations; about 632,000 telephones (4.3 per 100 popl.); 9 AM, no FM, 81 TV stations; 1 Atlantic Ocean, 1 Indian Ocean, and 1 Intersputnik satellite station; coaxial cable and radio-relay to Kuwait, Jordan, Syria, and Turkey
