a) Figures on number of corporation unit, number of economic active unit, persons employed, and total purchae, total inventory of wholesale and retail
trade refer to units above designated size.
b) Data on total retail sales of consumer goods exclude purchase of commodity housing by households, and since 2002, that excludes the sales of
which directly sold to urban and rural households and social groups, economic active units and individual industries, and farmer produce, which
sold by agricultural producer.
c) Figure on total retail sales of consumer goods in 2003 is unadjusted figure, it is firstly adjusted in 2004, and it is 4760.21 billion yuan. The same as
in the following tables.
d) Data in 2004 were preliminary statistics. The same as from this table to table 17-4.
