Routeburn Track (trail)

On day two of the Routeburn Track, the scenery undergoes a major transformation. A steady climb takes you out of the forest and high up to the Harris Saddle. Your effort is rewarded with breathtaking views and a restful lunch at the Harris Saddle shelter. From here its downhill to overnight accommodation by the lake.
