Gimblet Gravels Vineyard, Hawke's Bay

For the purposes of wine making, Hawkes Bays vast alluvial plains are divided into around a dozen sub regions. Probably the most famous of these sub regions is Gimblett Gravels, where gravel soils and unique climatic conditions combine to aid the creation of outstanding red wines. You can�t leave New Zealand without trying a Gimblett Gravels syrah.
