The Arts Center, Christchurch

The Arts Centre of Christchurch, which lives inside the old Canterbury University buildings, will take you a day or more to explore. It encompasses more than forty specialty shops, fine art exhibitions, theatre, cinemas, bars and restaurants. Every Saturday and Sunday, an arts and crafts market provides fun, shopping and informal food outside the centre.
