Lermoos is in the broad valley of the Tyrolean district of Reutte at the foot of the Grubigstein mountains (2.233 meters). In the winter it offers skiing and Snowboarding in the local slopes of Grubigstein; other great ski slopes; a panoramic view; sailings to the area, tobogganning; 100 kilometers of cross-country trails; ice rink; fun park; and sleigh rides. In the summer there are outdoor and indoor swimming pools; a 9-hole golf course, fishing and diving; and guided tours of the Via Claudia Augusta, an important, ancient Roman road, which linked the valley of the Po River with Rhaetia (in modern Austria) across the Alps.
