Tuxertal valley in Tyrol, 1.300 meters above sea level, is in the Tux Alps (German: Tuxer Alpen), a small mountain range of the Central Eastern Alps in Austria.

The area offers 350 kilometers of marked hiking trails and 140 kilometers of ski slopes.

The Hintertux Glacier, 7 km away, guarantees good snow conditions year round.
