* Definitions

Barrel (petroleum): A unit of volume equal to 42 U. S. gallons.

Natural Gas Liquids (NGL): Those hydrocarbons in natural gas that are separated as liquids from the gas. Natural gas liquids include natu- ral gas plant liquids (primarily ethane, propane, butane, and isobutane), and lease condensate (primarily pentanes produced from natural gas at lease separators and field facilities.)

Liquefied Petroleum Gases (LPG): Ethane, ethylene, propane, pro- pylene, normal butane, butylene, and isobutane produced at refineries or natural gas processing plants, including plants that fractionate new natural gas plant liquids.
